My name is Lola Parkes Edwards, and I am this year’s Vice President of Volunteers. While originally from NY, my family and I have lived in Snellville since 2003. I attended Partee Elementary myself from 2003-2008, and am now the proud mother of two current students. After graduating from Shiloh High School, I attended Savannah State University where I met my husband and earned my Bachelor degree in Accounting. It is such a pleasure to be back in my hometown, and I look forward to giving back to this wonderful community that helped raise me by being a part of Partee’s PTA. Go Generals!
Secretary of Membership

Ms. Stephanie Colbert
Greetings! I’m Stephanie Colbert a passionate and experienced educator with over 14 years of dedicated teaching service in Gwinnett County Public School. I hold Master’s degree in Elementary Education and firmly believe that every student possesses an innate desire to learn. My goal as an educator is to provide my students with an environment where they can feel empowered in various opportunities to explore and gain success on their educational journey. Outside the classroom, I’m a dedicated leader, advocate and afterschool club sponsor promoting collaboration and support for fellow educators. I am honored to be a part of Partee’s PTA board..
Secretary of Correspondance

Ms. Yusra Syed Lee
Yusra is a speech language pathologist who works to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Yusra specializes in the adult and geriatric population, and currently works for Emory Healthcare. Yusra and her husband were introduced to Partee Elementary when their daughter entered the Pre-K Special Education program. Over the past several months, her family has gotten to see all of the positive impacts the teachers and staff have left on her daughter’s growth and development; so volunteering for the Partee PTA was just a little way of saying “thank you!” When she’s not Partee-ing, speech therapying, or nurturing her two littles, Yusra is immersing herself in her Indian culture, discovering a fun fitness workout, or cooking a new recipe!
Volunteer Opportunities
There are so many opportunities to contribute to the Partee Community through our PTA – GET INVOLVED TODAY!
Research shows that family involvement promotes student success. Students with involved parents are more likely to:
